Loving luscious lupins

Such a lovely day I went up to the allotment for a bit of light hoeing. The colour of the sky was amazing - especially against this coppper beech.

Always one to see what's in everyone else's allotment I peered over the fence and saw these beauties. I love lupins.

But then joy of joys - these ...

Great colours and just beautiful majestic spires...

I've tried to grow these so many times and they always get eaten by slugs. But maybe, just maybe, if I try them at the allotment I may just have my own dreamy spires.

Hope you're enjoying your weekend

  1. Hi Wend, fabulous lupins, we always had these in the garden when I was a child, I love them.
Thank you for your kind comment about my crochet, I made a little drawstring bag last night! I'm really proud.
I'm going to try the ripples a little later when I have mastered the basic stitches, why don't you try Youtube, I always find it easier to learn while watching someone.
Try this link, a video for a ripple blanket is on here:-

I have been using craftmastery youtube video's and their website to learn, there a great help.
    Have a fab day.
