Wend, many congratulations on a job well done - Happy birthday Niobe! My son Aaron was also born on today's date in 1971 - I'll leave you to do the sums!! I thought of you yesterday, when the fish knives finally came home with me from the charity shop. They had been calling me for months and the reason I hadn't bought them sooner was because some blighty had nicked the forks. Can you believe that? Have a great day girls, I bet lots of jollies are organised. Have fun! LLX
Have a happy time together, my eldest is going to be eighteen in a few weeks, where does the time go.Look forward to seeing you at the Northampton fair Linda xx
Happy Birthday to you Niobe! My niece will be 17 this month..seems like only yesterday she was going off to primary school! Enjoy all your celebrations. :0)
I was wondering what you were going to do with that hymn board - it brings back real memories. In our teens, my then-boyfriend and I used to set up the numbers and have huge mock serious rows about the placing - I favoured them centred, and he prefered them laid out in hundreds, tens and units...
A very Happy Birthday to Niobe. I visited a vintage textile fair yesterday and thought of you. Until I read your blog I had no idea that 'barkcloth' was called 'barkcloth' and I saw loads yesterday. Funny how the blogging world helps you connect with those you wouldn't otherwise meet. Jo x
An adult now eh?! Happy Birthday Niobe.
